Q

Can I still send in my kit for production even though I have had it for years?

A

With the exception of Namely You, Memory Maker, and Arthur and Me, we will produce the item associated with any kit we have ever sold. If you own a Namely You, Memory Maker, or Arthur and Me kit, you may return it to us with a request for any other item in our Children's Series and we will send that product to you free of charge. Please see the "About Us" section for our current address.


Q

Your phone number has changed and you are in Englewood, not Denver, which is the address on the return envelope. Do I need to change the address on the return envelope?

A

No. Our Post Office Box in Denver will always be our permanent address. However, if you want to overnight your materials to us for production, please use our corporate office address below:

Q

My child made too many mistakes on the kit materials/we lost the materials/our dog ate the kit materials. Can we buy replacements?

A

Yes. Each item listed on the Retail Kits page offers "Replacement Materials" just for this purpose.


Q

How can I check on the status of the item I sent in for production?

A

Please use our Online Question Form and choose "Order Status". Someone will email you with the status of your order within 24-48 hours. Or if you prefer, you can call us at 800.706.8697 and select option 5 when prompted. If you don't reach a customer service representative, please leave a message with the product name you sent in, the last name used on the order form, and the city in which you reside and expect a return call within 24-48 hours.

How long will it take for me to receive my finished keepsake?

A

Production times vary from kit to kit and are not guaranteed. Refer to your Order Form for specific production times. Please remember that the production time stated is based on when your manuscript or art pages are received in our production facility and does NOT include mailing in or return shipping time (which can vary). Several kits offer a Rush Shipping Option that speeds up the return shipping of your completed keepsake. During peak holiday production time we ask that you allow us an extra week of production time.


Q

My envelope says "Chimeric, Inc." on the outside. Is Creations by You the same company?

A

Yes! Please feel free to use the old Chimeric envelopes as your order will still come to our PO box in Denver, CO.


Q

Can I make changes to an already submitted order?

A

Please email customerservice@creationsbyyou.com to see if your order can be changed. Depending on where the order is in production, we may be able to honor your request. Please note: there is a fee to make a change to an already submitted order. For the first change it is $3.00, and for every additional change, it is $1.00 per change.
